I very much look forward to seeing you!

Each piece of seaweed art I create is handmade by myself and completely unique.

Real seaweeds!

Real colours!

I do not enhance the seaweeds in any way, using the natural seaweeds, just as they are!

My pictures are created from sustainably sourced seaweeds that I forage for on beaches and coves across the beautiful county of Devon.

Once the seaweeds are thoroughly washed and dried, I arrange them into pictures with flow, emulating the rhythmic nature of waves.

I then frame my pictures to bring out the natural beauty of each combination.

Each picture is made with love and passion and I hope that you enjoy them as much as I do!

Sarah Leggatt Seaweed Artist Devon.jpg

I am a wife and grandmother living in beautiful Devon, between Dartmoor and the south coast.

I have always had a deep connection with the sea and I take the inspiration for my art from the calmness that being near the water brings me.

I hope you enjoy my creations, and that I can spread a lovingly crafted piece of Devon to your home.
